Mr. Vijay Govindarajan

B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, and M Sc (Power Electronics) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

“After finishing his BTech from IIT Madras in, he joined AEG in Franfurt and subsequently Siemens in India where he established the Electronics manufacturing workshop for variable speed drives. He then did his Masters in Power Electronics at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, before starting Autodata in 1980.
What characterizes him and Autodata is that they have always prioritized solving of technical challenges over other pursuits. This has resulted in gaining satisfaction through various applications in multi motor variable speed drives, automation and Power Electronics.
He has more ideas that he can give traction to, and he hopes that one day he will complete the adventure – thriller book he has begun.”

Experience:
He started Autodata in the year 1980 for the design  and manufacture of Automation and Drive systems with the support of his wife who is also an Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology,Mumbai. 

Having lead Autodata for over 35 years, his expertise is primarily into automation, drivers, pollution control, test benches etc. He worked for 10 years with AEG and Siemens, prior to starting  Autodata. He trained with AEG in Frankfurt in Automation for Cement Projects and subsequently joined Siemens India where he developed a Power  Electronic design and manufacturing cell for steel, Paper DC drive systems.  

He is currently engaged in Automation systems for Nuclear and manufacturing applications, Test Benches and Pollution Control Equipment and is partnering companies is Europe and U.S.

General Manager (Engineering)

Mr. Kamlesh Kende

Did his Industrial Electronics Engineerig from Mumbai University
Studied AC Variable Speed Drives from Indian Institute of Science
“Responsible for much of Autodata’s growth and capability. He guides the team in almost all the technical issues in Automation and the Particulate Emission Control space. Extensive experience in advanced PLCs, HMIs, Scada, Variable speed drives, Syncronised Multi Motor drives and Communication.
He is also the contact point for our foreign collaborators.
He has studied Electrical Engineering in Mumbai University. He interned with Autodata in the summer of 1987,from college and to Autodata’s great good fortune, has since continued with us.”

Work Experience:
Has an over all work experience of 34 years with Autodata has expertise  in the field of design, manufacturing, commissioning and maintenance of Automation systems including variable speed drive systems (ac, dc and servo), PLC (machine tool, standard, redundant and hot standby), HMI, and Scada systems(level 1 and 2), Heater controllers, rectifiers Electrostatic precipitators and systems.

He was actively involved in absorption of technology transferred from M/S PDL Electronics from New Zealand for designs upto 30 kW and customizing the technology to local requirements.

Achieved product certifications for Autodata control panels for CE marking from TUV which were mandatory for exports to the European Union.

Has the experience of training engineers who train clients of Autodata at the end of commissioning the project onsite. Has helped Autodata to achieve certifications as a ISO 9001-2008 company in year 2010.

Achieved product certifications for Autodata products from UL (Underwriters Laboratory) which were mandatory for exports to the US and Canada.

General Manager (Works)

Mr.J.Parthasarathy

Did his B Sc. (Physics) from Bharathidasan University
He supervises the operations from Purchase to Dispatch and is the Company’s main juggler. With so many balls in the air, he is careful not to drop a single one. Normally very calm, except when he feels the person he is talking to can do a much better job. One of the main persons responsible for the turnover of the Company and the expansion plans in Sricity he has his hands very full.

Experience:
He has been working with Autodata for over 33 years. He is mainly responsible for purchase of materials, production.

Design Head- Transformers and Rectifiers

Mr.Satish Chavan

Did his Electrical Engineering from Mumbai University
“Satish Chavan Design and Quality Head Transformers and Rectifiers is the backbone of the Company for the conventional Transformer Rectifier systems for High Voltage Electrostatic Precipitator Applications and High Current Rectifier Systems. He has years of very relevant experience which is evident in the number of designs he is able to generate flawlessly for different applications.
He also supervises the manufacture and quality and training of personnel.
His loves to go on holidays and has visited a number of places.”

Business Development Manager

Mr.Sachin Badge

M.Sc (Electronics) from Pune University, B.Sc (Physics) Mumbai University.
Studied Diploma in Program Logic Control (PLC) form Mumbai University.

Experience:

Sachin has over 18 years of experience as in the field of Automation, service engineering,  and software programming. Has been working with Autodata for over 16 years. Before he joined Auto data, he worked as a Service Engineer with NELCO (A TATA Enterprise) and was engaged in the commissioning of electric fencing system at the Line of control. He has also worked as a lecturer in Bandra Polytechnic in the subject of Physics and Electronics. 

He has the expertise in design the most advanced and easy-to-use software automation tools to increase production efficiency and improve product quality. Has provided onsite installation and technical support for Autodata customers based in Turkey, Canada, China and Russia. 

Co-Founder and Director

Mrs. Gita Govindarajan

BTech Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay

Experience:
Worked with the University of Erlangen Germany and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Mumbai, before taking part in the foundation of Autodata with Vijay Govindarajan.
She introduced dedicated processor based circuits when programmable logic was still to take root in the country.

Team Leader – Design and software

Ms. Aparna Chhajed

Did her Engineering in Electronics from University of Pune
Aparna Chhajed Was till recently in charge of Engineering and has now been requested to take charge of Scheduling, Manufacturing and Quality. The Company believes that quality has to be built in every stage of manufacturing. Attention to detail and an overall concern for the Company and the Clients characterizes her attitude to the job.

Experience:
15 years of total experience in industrial automation and has been with Autodata for over 13 years.

Expertise in PLC panel designing, PLC programming of Siemens S7 200, S7 300, S7 400, S7 1200 series.  
Allen Bradley Micrologix, SLC 500, CompactLogix and ControlLogix.  
Siemens DCS – PCS7. 
Experience in programming of various HMIs (Human Machine Interface) like Allen Bradley, ESA, Exor, Siemens, Co-Trust, Mitsubishi. 
Scadas like RS View, WINCC explorer and WINCC flexible etc. 
Co-ordination with client for understanding the project requirements and provide them the firm solution in automation area. Design, Programming and some commissioning experience in various verticals such as

Ms.Gomathi Arunachalam

Did her Masters in Commerce

Manager Accounts knows the financial pulse of the Company. Incoming and outgoing payments, taxes, accounts and audits keeps her very busy. She is so dedicated that no even dreams of competing with her. She did her Masters while working. She is one of those who have an infinite capacity to work and solve issues.
